Dr. Tushar D. Bhagat, PhD., MS, MSc

Dr. Bhagat is a renowned meditation teacher and cancer scientist, trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Brown University. With 30 years of meditation practice, he teaches MBSR at Brown and trains future mindfulness and meditation teachers at Mindfulness Northwest. He has led mindfulness programs at Columbia University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and The Brooklyn Hospital. Dr. Bhagat believes in the power of science-based mindfulness to reduce stress and enhance well-being, helping students cultivate conditions for a happier, more meaningful life.

Geeta Cowlagi

Geeta Cowlagi is a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, with over 25 years of meditation practice and 12 years of professional teaching experience. She has shared mindfulness with more than 60,000 people worldwide, including at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Medical School. Geeta studied with Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of MBSR, and teaches with a heart-centered approach that cultivates resilience, compassion, and joy.
